Network

OIX is a great networking opportunity as we have members from almost every area of the world of interconnection.

Let’s Work Together

A lot of attention gets placed upon content. But what about the infrastructure that this content travels on? Without standards in place for these physical entities to adhere to, Internet traffic would be inconsistent, unreliable and insecure. With our standards we are able to certify Internet Exchanges and Data Centers that create the physical backbone of the internet.

These standards were built by community consensus and need to be continually reviewed and redefined as new and improved technologies and methods for exchanges and data centers are built.

We are reaching out to the community to ask for your help and input. Whether it’s simply suggestions and feedback or becoming a member of one of our committees, we would love to hear from you. More than that, we need to hear from you.

Let’s work together to make the Internet a more reliable and secure place. Our world runs online and the builders and providers of this digital highway system need to be educated, advised and accountable for the services that they provide.
